Recruited to paint glow-in-the-dark faces on watches for soldiers during World War I, hundreds of young women became mysteriously ill with what we know now as radium poisoning. This hard-hitting docudrama details the women’s experience as they attempt to get their day in court with their former employers and asks tough questions about progress, responsibility and the difficulty of speaking truth to power. Recommended for ages 12 and up.

Join us for an educational guided tour of the scaled outdoor Voyage Solar System Model in Rinconada Park led by esteemed astrophysicist and model creator Dr. Jeff Bennett.
This special tour for ages 4th grade and older will begin at the Sun stantion of the model located between the Junior Museum and Zoo and the playground in Rinconada Park.
