Membership provides the opportunity for individuals to raise their voices with others in each school, throughout California and nation to protect children’s rights. Membership ensures that PTA’s voice is heard on issues affecting young people as well as providing opportunities for parent education, communication and leadership development.

With almost 6,000 members in Palo Alto, 800,000 members in California, and 4 million members in the USA, the PTA is the largest volunteer organization in the city, state, and nation dedicated to improving the well being of all children and youth.
