The PTA is part of the foundation of the public education system. The purposes of this Council are promoted in cooperation with the National PTA and the California State PTA through advocacy and education in collaboration with parents, teachers, educators, students, and the public. The Palo Alto Council of PTA’s was established in January 1923 as a charter of the California State PTA, working to drive improvements in the education, health, and well-being of all children and families.
