Bike Index (https://saferoutes.paloaltopta.org/bicycle-registration/) allows you to register all bikes in your household, add pictures, edit or add information, and delete or transfer ownership of bikes. Importantly, it allows you to list your bike as stolen or lost should that happen. If you take a few minutes now it may save you a lot of time later and more importantly give you a better chance of getting your bike back if it goes missing. THIS IS A NATIONAL DATABASE that everyone is welcome to use. To find the serial number of your bike turn your bike upside down. The majority of serial numbers are located under the bottom bracket where the two pedal cranks meet. This project is a cooperative effort with the PTA, City of Palo Alto and the Palo Alto Police department.
