Is the new, online, standardized, test of Common Core principles working? What did we learn from this year’s testing? Please join Assemblyman Rich Gordon and education leaders to explore the very latest results and discuss how we can get the most out of the tests. Among other things, we will delve into technical problems, opt-outs, whether there is evidence that children are mastering Common Core concepts, and what can be improved.
FREE. Please join Assemblyman Rich Gordon and a panel of experts for this important discussion.
PiE is launching its 2015-2016 fundraising campaign for PAUSD schools, and we need the support of our whole community. PiE funds over 250 caring adults at all PAUSD schools – including elementary, middle and high schools. From classroom aides, to elective class teachers, to caring counselors and mentors, PiE funded staff make a difference for our kids everyday.
Right now, we have a Back-To-School Challenge Grant of $500,000. Every dollar donated to PiE between now and September 5th will be matched (up to $500K). Please donate today!
