Stanford GUP Update

We are united in this “full mitigation” message with PAUSD, the school board, our teachers, and our classified staff.
The Planning Commission is voting on the GUP at its  June 27 hearing (1:30 p.m.) – speak up for our students!
Why are we messaging the Planning Commission? The planning commission, in approving the GUP to the full county board, must find it won’t detrimentally impact the public welfare, health and safety (by county zoning ordinance). Full mitigation is necessary for the Stanford GUP to NOT detrimentally impact our students’ welfare (education opportunities), health (nurses, counselors) and safety (Safe Routes to Schools).
Please open your Click My Cause app and tap twice for “full mitigation”! (Tap 1: “act now”; Tap 2: “send message”). Your message will be sent to the county planning commission. Now is the time to speak up or we might end up with overcrowded schools and less resources for staff and students. Please help PAUSD parents and staff know how the Stanford General Use Permit (GUP) could impact our schools. What we do now will have an impact for many years to come!
